Pictou updated their facilities at Hector Quay in the early 90s as well as adding some nice waterfront restaurants which create a very inviting atmosphere today. Hector Quay has all the amenities and readily welcomes visitors, but if you need fuel (gas only - no diesel), you have to stop at the Pictou Marina, which is co-located with PYC. Hector Quay & PYC monitor VHF Ch 16, but Pictou Marina has no VHF.
